TFP Means "time for prints." A model works for a photographer without a cash payment. Instead, the model is given a pre-arranged number of prints and/or enlargements as payment for her work.  TFCD Means the same but images are on Cd instead of  printed.

PORTFOLIO A book, normally 8" X 10", 9" X 12" or 11" X 14" filled with photographic examples of a model's work

COMP CARD A card with photos on it as well as your stats and contact information that is submitted for consideration when casting projects.

Model's Release -  A form that a model signs giving the photographer permission to use the photos. The photographer owns the images but cant
publish them for commercial use without a release.  

SPOKESMODEL An assignment where a model promotes a product at a tradeshow, convention or similar.

Golden hour (also known as magic hour) is the first and last hour of sun during the day when a specific photographic effect is achieved with the light.
 The light is very flattering and excelent for taking portraits.

IMPLIED NUDITY   Photographs that look like nudes but don't show anything a bikini would cover.  An example would be a picture that shows female model exposed from her shoulders up. The picture suggests but does not show nudity.  The model may have been topless or she could have been wearing a strapless top not visable in the picture

TRADE SHOW A show where companies in a particular industry gather to demonstrate or promote their products

COMMERCIAL MODELING This is modeling in which a product is being presented and it is the central focus of the photo.

COMMERCIAL NUDITY Commercial nudity is similar to implied nudity except it is intended for the commercial, rather than the glamour market. Ads for shampoo, pantyhose, skin creams, ect. The nudity is non-revealing,

FASHION MODELING The modeling of clothes where the clothing is the central focus of the photos.

LINGERIE MODELING This term is self-evident, but lingerie can range from very tame to very revealing.  .

RUNWAY MODELING Live modeling on a stage or walkway where clothing is the central focus of the show .

SHEERS Modeling in clothing or drapes which are sheer or transparent. Generally the model will be exposed to the camera through the material.

FIGURE MODELING This is a form of nude modeling where the shape of the model is the main Focus.

Fetish  As the name implies it covers very specific areas of interest, these can be as varied as tight jeans, to punk or gothic, to domination. 
Models should always make sure that they have a clear understanding of the assignment and what is involved before accepting fetish work. 
Models for fetish modeling should be over 18.
