Finding work

Agencies

For fashon in a major market

HEIGHT: 5'9" minimum and 5'10" minimum for catwalk!
BUST: 34 B: (some "C" cups accepted but anything larger than that will not get you into a major agency for this type of modeling ).

HIPS: 34"-35 1/2"
WEIGHT: 120-122 lbs. [for a 5'9" model] You must slip *easily* into a standard size 8/10

The clothes they provide wont fit unless your stats are close to the above

If you meet these requirements get a few pictures and send them to agencies.  If they really like your look and sign you they will see you get the portfolio pictures ,comp cards and everything else because they think you will make them money.  Most fashon and cosmetic modeling work is booked through agencies in major markets. If that is the work you want and are willing to move to where they are located its the best way.  Check out the agency first dont get scammed

Promotional work is often the easiest to find and you dont have to have runway model stats.
Local ads / craigslist ect.  Many internet sites also list work
Local advertizing

Contact anyone
localy that uses models when making advertisments like Photographers, buissnesses ect.  ( comp cards !)

 Premote yourself online
Use model and photgrapher forums and every modeling site you can find to advertise yourself.   Any job you get can lead
to another.  You could be hired for promotional work at a car show and the guy photographing the cars may shoot for a hot rod magazine or a lingerie catalog.  You never know, just network when ever you can.
Onemodelplace  ModelMayhem  are good places to start.     Answer every email as long as they are polite and professional.
